Research Interests:
I’m currently studying synthetic enzyme based catalysts for PET hydrolysis. I’m interested in improving synthetic routes towards effective catalysts and employing experimental and computational techniques to better understand their kinetics and their role in the reaction mechanism. This understanding will inform the development of more targeted and efficient catalysts for a sustainable future.
Favorite thing about UW or Madison:
UW has introduced me to so many wonderful people and passionate researchers! It’s always a good time to learn about the amazing research they’re working on or the new corner of Wisconsin they’ve been exploring. It’s an even better time walking to the Terrace and having these conversations over some cheese curds and live music. The friends I’ve made here are undoubtedly some of my favorite people in the world and motivate me to be a better researcher every day.
